The pharmaceutical company Hemofarm has started producing the innovative drug Corpos. On that occasion, Prime Minister Ana Brnabic visited Hemofarm together with representatives of the Government and the diplomatic corps.

Brnabic pointed out that this drug is also available to patients in Serbia thanks to the cooperation between Hemofarm and the biggest biotechnology company Roche, according to the website of the Government of Serbia.

She pointed out that negotiations are underway with Hemofarm about the wider production of other innovative drugs in our country, and pointed out that in the last four years, the number of MS patients treated by the Serbian Health Insurance Fund has quadrupled.

The prime minister reminded that, in October last year, an agreement on cooperation in the field of science was signed with Roche, opening the space for moving part of their research to Serbia.

Ronald Seeliger, the CEO of Hemofarm, explained that his company entered this project with Roche six years ago and that there is now the drug Corpos which changes the quality of patients’ lives.
