Milsped Mercurio to store 5,500 Punto Classic cars - Expansion of cooperation with Fiat Automobili Srbija

Companies Milsped Mercurio and Fiat Automobili Srbija (FAS) have signed an agreement on the storage of 5,500 Punto Classic cars, which are intended for export. Milsped Mercurio is a joint venture of Milsped, the leading logistics provider in the region, and Mercurio, the biggest automobile transporter in Italy.

According to a statement issued by Milsped, the company will use its fleet to transport aforementioned vehicles from the plant in Kragujevac and store them at the logistic center in Krnjesevci, whence they will be directly dispatched to target export markets. Relocation of these vehicles is carried out in accordance with Fiat's new investments in the preparation of the plant for the production of a new model.

- Milsped's overall service includes the manipulation, storage and maintenance of stored vehicles, and it is provided pursuant to strict guidelines of the automobile manufacturer - reads the statement.

The business cooperation between Fiat and Milsped started in 2010 when an agreement was signed on the provision of services in the field of supply of FAS dealer network with original spare parts directly transported from Italy.
