Serbian textile products available to over 38m buyers in Poland
Textile manufacturers in Novi Pazar will sign a contract with Polish company Prelic on exclusive distribution of the products of these seven companies in the market of Poland.
The contract that enables companies Maxers, Stig, Benneli, Classic, Big Boys, Bros and Exact to enter the market of Poland will be signed during the Poznan Fashion Fair.
Seven companies from Novi Pazar, members of the Sandzak Association of Textile Manufacturers (Asstex), will be exhibiting at that fair, between March 1 and 3.
The USAID's Economic Security Strengthening Program has previously signed an agreement with Asstex, by which a strategic partnership and a logistic and financial aid are provided for these seven members of the Association with the aim of enforcing contracts in Poland.
As a result of the USAID's Enterprise Development Support Project, textile companies that participate in programs registered a 14% sales growth in the period 2007 - 2009, the USAID announced.
Visits to trade fairs have proved to be successful for companies from the two most endangered regions in Serbia - Sandzak and South Serbia.
Since 2008, companies that participate in the activities of the USAID's Economic Security Strengthening Program have managed to register sales in the amount of USD 10 million.
The activities of the Program have so far helped 120 companies from these two regions to conquer new markets in Turkey, Czech Republic, Russia, Belarus, and now in Poland.
