The construction of the Cika Daca Stadium in Kragujevac will begin in May, as announced by the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, at the Solemn State Ceremony in Kragujevac on the occasion of the Statehood Day.

– The building permit has been obtained, the project documentation has been completed. For Sumarice and the entire northern Kragujevac, this will be one of the biggest and most important development projects – Vucic pointed out.

Allegedly, the new Cika Daca Stadium will cost EUR 70,000,000. It will have a capacity of 20,000 seats, which would make it the third biggest stadium in Serbia (behind the Red Star Belgrade and Partizan Belgrade stadiums) and the biggest one outside Belgrade.

In the meantime, the construction of the stadiums in Loznica, Leskovac and Zajecar should be completed. Lagator in Loznica costs EUR 30,000,000 and will have a capacity of 9,000 spectators. EUR 20,000,000 is to be spent on Dubocica in Leskovac, and the number of seats is 8,000. The Kraljevica stadium in Zajecar with a capacity of 8,000 seats is worth EUR 28,000,000.
