Opening of Linglong Factory in Zrenjanin Announced for Spring

Representatives of the Chinese company Linglong today presented the plan of the preparations for the opening of the tire factory in Zrenjanin at the meeting with the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic. The beginning of the factory’s operations has been announced for the spring.

As announced from the cabinet of the president, the members of the delegation of Linglong pointed out that they were satisfied with the conditions of doing business in Serbia, that they were ready to invest in Serbia by employing even more people and that they would comply with the environmental protection standards.

Vucic emphasized at the meeting that the opening of another Chinese company in Serbia “is an additional confirmation of the extraordinary relations between the two countries”.

He reminded that China was one of the biggest trade partners of Serbia and that the country’s investments recorded “a constant and strong growth”.

The meeting was also attended by the ambassador of China to Serbia, Chen Bo.
