Serbian Internet Domain Day – Think Digital

The traditional Serbian Internet Domain Day (DIDS 2023) will be held on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at the Vlada Divljan Culture Center in Belgrade. A significant jubilee will mark DIDS 2023 - 15 years from March 10, 2008, the inception date of .rs national domain registration.

The organizer, the Serbian National Internet Domain Name Registry Foundation (RNIDS), gave this year’s event the slogan: “Think Digital!” The motto reflects the conference agenda, dedicated to creativity as the answer to business challenges, digital transformation of traditional businesses, and branding the tradition in the digital age.

– DIDS has always been an exclusive opportunity for the participants to meet with top-class speakers and panelists. This time, the event will present two renowned keynote speakers: Swedish author Fredrik Härén, a global visionary who conveys his knowledge, experience, and forecasts related to business creativity and transformation in the digital age, and a British expert in the domain of creativity theory, Dave Birss who will address the event with valuable notions on how to release happy chemicals in the brains of the customers – announced RNIDS.

Domestic aspects of digital transformation will be covered by panel discussions. One of them, named Family Companies and Next Level, gives some rarely heard insights into family companies in Serbia to the audience: are family companies ready for the next generation of their owners, and are the heirs sufficiently prepared for the challenges the digital age pose for their businesses.

This panel will be moderated by Milovan Zvijer, Attorney-at-Law, Partner in Four Legal law firm, and the participants are Dragan and Aleksandar Marković, father and son, ITN Group, as well as Rade and Aleksa Vučićević, father and son, Art Ival.

Digital Business Solutions from Serbia is the title of the second panel at the conference, which will be directly preceded by the presentation of the results of the research on the use of digital technologies in business.

After presenting how and to what extent the businesses use digital technologies and solutions in their core operations, the moderator of the panel, Vladimir Zarić, Account Director @ Four Dots, will initiate the discussion with the panelists - selected representatives of software companies that develop business solutions for the domestic, regional, and international markets. They will talk about their impressions on the situation on the market, how they find their experiences related to their cooperation with micro, mid-size, and large companies from Serbia, and how it differs from collaborating with their peers in the region and abroad. By giving some inspirational examples, we will be able to get valuable insights into how the traditional business can win during the digital transformation.

With Vladimir Zarić as the moderator, the panelists are Veljko Radovanović, CEO @ Logik.rs, Andreja Nikolić, Founder & CEO @ Kadrovska.rs, and Aleksandar Nastevski, Founder & CEO @ NB SOFT.

DIDS 2023 is going to be held in the standard live event format. The organizers will stream the conference on their YouTube channel. Tickets for the conference are free. Due to the limited number of seats, sign-up and registration are mandatory and can be done on the DIDS2023 website.
