According to the Detailed Regulation Plan, which is available for an early public inspection, and which was prepared by the PE Urbanizam i izgradnja Vranje, the preliminary borders of the plan enclose an area of around 249.22 ha – parts of the cadaster municipalities Trstena, Rozdace, Dobrejance and Stance.
The area is undeveloped, and consists of agricultural and forest land. It is not located in any zone of protection of natural or cultural goods.
According to the plan, the agricultural land allows for the construction of structures for the use of renewable energy sources, and the forest land enables the construction of facilities for the use of renewable energy sources of small capacities (small power plants and similar structures) and the exploitation of mineral resources if the surface of the forests and the forest land is under 15 ha.
According to the website of the City of Vranje, the early public inspection is organized to the end of introducing the public with the general goals and the purpose of the preparation of the plan, the potential solutions to the development of a spatial whole, the expected effects of the planning etc.
Let us remind that the Belgrade-based company has obliged to pay to the City of Vranje a fee of 1% of the gross income realized from the sale of electrical energy once the wind farm is built.
