In the territory of the municipality of Aleksinac, the plan is to build two wind farms, one by WPP Greenwatt and the other by WPP Forest Wind, both from Belgrade.

These two legal persons are the commissioners of the preparation of the studies for the detailed regulation plans, which were prepared by Projektura from Belgrade, and the drafting authority is the urban planning department of the Municipality of Aleksinac.

Wind Farm Bradarac

For the wind farm Bradarac, the area covered by the plan is 2,560 ha. The space which is the subject of the analysis is located in the northern part of the territory of the municipality of Aleksinac, along the northeast administrative border with the municipality of Razanj, south of the settlement of Mozgovo and around the settlement of Bradarac within the cadaster municipalities of Cicina, Rutevac, Bradarac, Subotinac, Mozgovo and Bovan.

The total power of the planned wind farm is around 225 MW. This power is defined in line with the possibilities of connecting to the electrical energy system, whereas the Plan will carry out an analysis in the architectural-urban planning sense for roughly 34 wind generator locations for which there are no limitations to realization. The Plan also defines the possibility of the realization of the whole project in phases and a subsequent selection of the type of wind generators and their individual power, on which the total number of the realized locations for the installation of wind generators will depend.

Wind Farm Mozgovo

The planned wind farm is in the contact area of the Spatial Plan of the area of the infrastructure corridor of the E-75 highway, section Belgrade - Nis, but outside the impact zone.

The total power of the planned wind farm is around 150 MW. This power is defined in line with the possibilities of connecting to the electrical energy system, whereas the Plan will carry out an analysis in the architectural-urban planning sense for roughly 22 wind generator locations for which there are no limitations to realization. The Plan also defines the possibility of the realization of the whole project in phases and a subsequent selection of the type of wind generators.

Both DRP studies are up for public inspection until March 21.
