Delta Holding Employs Another 41 Young Leaders of 11th Generation

(The young leaders who have just completed the program with the management of Delta Holding) The official reception held on January 13 marked the beginning of the one-year program for 41 attendees of the 11th generation of Delta Holding Young Leaders. Certificates for a successfully completed program were handed over to the Young Leaders of the previous, 10th generation.
The Young Leaders program is a project of employment and career development, launched in 2012. Each year, it includes young people who have just graduated from faculties and who have no prior work experience. In a full decade of existence of the program, more than 340 young people have started building their business careers within Delta’s business system.
– Today, the most important thing for young people is to get a chance and see an opportunity for development. In this project, they are getting the opportunity to learn firsthand from experienced and motivated mentors, going through the whole system of companies within Delta Holding. We are proud that, at Delta, we have world-class capacities for the development of top professionals and I believe that that’s where the secret of the success and longevity of this program lies – says Ivanka Novakovic, HR Manager at Delta Holding.

Through the Young Leaders program, the attendees have the opportunity to work in various businesses, to get wide education and to be followed and supported by dedicated mentors for the duration of the program. The company does not condition the staying of the young in the system and that is why we are proud that, today, over 100 Young Leaders from previous generations work in the members of the business system.
– As a member of the third generation of Young Leaders, I got the kind of an opportunity that young people in Serbia get very rarely, to do very responsible jobs in very different businesses, from agriculture, through food manufacturing, to hotel management. I had the opportunity to learn through practice, absorbing experience from some of the leading business people in the region. The decision to return to Serbia after getting an education abroad has proven to be fully justified. For eight years now, I have had the pleasure to transfer what I’ve learned in business to the coming generations – says Andrej Sovrovic, Hotel Business Manager at Delta Holding and Executive Board member. His message to the new generation is:
– You are in the right place to realize your ambitions, with dedicated work and learning on a daily basis, with mentors who are proven in their field of work.

Delta Holding is very proud of its Young Leaders program, as a project for the employment of career development for future managers and professionals. We want a considerable number of young, university-educated people to stay in Serbia, to work here and build their careers. The achievements of the attendees of the Young Leaders project are also recognized outside the scope of the system. In the organization of the Serbian Association of Managers, Igor Milenkovic and Milan Matic, former attendees of the Young Leaders project, were awarded the recognition Best Young Manager in Serbia in 2021 and 2022.
