Golubac Fortress Visited by 172,000 Local and Foreign Tourists in 2022 – 211 River Cruise Ships Docked

Since 2019, when it opened following a reconstruction, the Golubac Fortress has been recording an increase in the number of visitors every year. Last year, the medieval fortress at the entrance to the Djerdap Gorge was visited by 172,000 visitors from the country and abroad.

In addition to the tourists, who come to this medieval fortress by the Djerdap Main Route, it is also visited by the passengers from the river cruise ships.

Last year, 211 river cruise ships with tourists from various parts of the world docked at the wharf within the fortress complex.

Including the visitors who come individually and as part of organized tours, last year, the Golubac Fortress was visited by a total of 172,000 tourists.
