New members appointed to Managing Board of German Business Association
German Business Association in Belgrade, which closely cooperates with the Delegate Office of German Industry and Commerce for Serbia and Montenegro, has scheduled for today (February 10, 2011) its regular and traditional Members Dinner at Hyatt hotel in Belgrade for the managers of numerous companies that are members of the Association.
This event will be preceded by the first this year's meeting of the supplemented Managing Board, which consists of the following 7 members: Ernst Bode, the Chairman of the Managing Board (Messer Tehnogas), Michael Schmidt (the Director of the Delegate Office of Germany Industry and Commerce), Wolfram Heinisch (Hemofarm Stada), Dirk Pophanken (Panasonic Electric Works Vossloh-Schwabe Serbia Ltd.), Bojan Predojevic (Profine Group Serbia), Tomas Time (Commerzbank Serbia), and Aleksandar Tojc (Adria Media Serbia).
One of the priority topics at the meeting will be approval of this year's numerous significant activities of the Association, as well as admission of new members.
At the traditional meeting at Hyatt hotel, which is organized exclusively for the members of the Association, special guests from the economy sector will be Dragomir Markovic, the Director General of the Electric Power Company of Serbia (EPS) who will give a speech on the strategy of the Electric Power Company of Serbia and the possibilities of cooperation with the German economy, and Dr. Juergen Welschof from the Office of German Development Bank (KfW) in Serbia, who will be speaking about joint projects with the EPS in the energy sector.
