The Russian company Siberian Wellness has announced the acquisition of the Zemun cosmetics factory Dahlia.

According to the press release, thanks to being recognized by this international brand, the production at Dahlia will continue as a synergy with the brand that is synonymous for health from nature.

– The acquisition of the company by Siberian Wellness is an opportunity for the Dahlia brand to become a regional leader in the production of care products – the Russian company adds.

The Siberian Wellness brand was founded in Novosibirsk and has been creating natural health, sports and beauty products based on wild Siberian plants for over 26 years. In 2018, according to the Siberian Wellness Srbija website, the company was renamed from Siberian Health into Siberian Wellness.

Siberian Wellness sells its products in over 60 countries of the world, and sales centers have been opened in 26 countries, including countries in Europe, Asia, Russia and the CIS states.

On the other hand, Dahlia has a hundred-year history of cosmetics production in our areas. In the early 1950s, as per the decision of the state organs, “Gradska laboratorija”, as the “Union” drogerie was previously renamed, joined Hemijska Industrija Balkan. It soon set itself apart as a separate legal entity and continued operating on its own in a new location named Dahlia, where it was located until 1969, it is said on the company’s website.

Since 1969, Dahlia has been located in Zemun, where the most modern factory in the whole former Yugoslavia at the time had been built. Dahlia was privatized in October 2017 out of bankruptcy, and the current owner is the company EH Investment doo Zemun.

As announced, the Russian investor will present the further strategic plans tomorrow.
