Lepenski Vir hotel gets sports hall and spa center

In order to make it's tourist offer complete, Lepenski Vir hotel in Donji Milanovac has started implementation of two investment projects - construction of a sports hall and a spa center.

Svetozar Cecelanovic, the hotel manager, told eKapija that the works on the wellness center were close to end, while construction of the sports hall should commence in March.

- The wellness center will comprise a jacuzzi swimming pool for athletes, a family jacuzzi swimming pool, saunas for men and women, a steam bath, an area for relaxation, a solarium, and a massage room. The works are in the final phase and we expect it to be ready for tourists in March - Cecelanovic explained.

He announced that that tourist complex would be ready to offer athletes all the contents for complete preparations by the end of the year, prior to when the sports hall would be finished as well.

- We are currently collecting required permits and construction of the sports hall should commence in March. We plan to finish the facility in six or seven months. According to the project, of which author is Sabac-based Set, the hall will have a court spanning 1,000 square meters and it will be able to hold 300 spectators. The building will be connected to the hotel - the manager explained.

The owners of the company Lepenski Vir are Milorad Pantic (70.9%), the Share Fund (7%), while the rest is in the possession of minor shareholders.
