First Factory for Production of Solar Panels in Serbia to Be Built in Velika Plana – Production Line to Dispense 25 Units per Hour

The Municipality of Velika Plana has advertised the public presentation of the Urban Project for the construction of a factory for the production of solar panels.

This is the first factory for the production of solar equipment in Serbia, and the investor is the company DoMi Eko – Solar doo Velika Plana for the production of miscellaneous electrical equipment, which is owned by natural persons and the companies Udarnik Gradnja doo from Belgrade and Inzenjering DM Invest doo from Smederevska Palanka, and which was founded in July this year.

The project was prepared by Arhitektonski Biro BB, also from Velika Plana.

The future complex consists of a production hall and a warehouse and will be located within the business Service-Mixed Zone Velika Plana, near the Belgrade-Nis highway, on an area of 12,601 m2 (1.2601 hectares).

According to the project, the complex entails the construction of three facilities. In the middle of the complex, a large, ground-floor production-storage hall will be formed.

The hall will contain separate warehouses for input secondary raw materials and a warehouse of finished products in the form of panels. The facility will be built from pre-fabricated reinforced concrete with a thermal-insulation sandwich wall panels and a gable roof with a mild incline.

A separate part, functionally connected to the hall, will be a business annex which will feature a distributive kitchen, dining room, central hall, offices…

The production will be done with the help of the production line (conveyor belt), which will dispense 25 solar panels per hour. As said, the input secondary raw materials will arrive as finished products (solar cells, Eva foil, tempered glass, wires and strips for connecting the cells…)

The plan is to also build a traffic route and a parking lot with 20 spaces.

The project is up for a public presentation until October 25.
