Vojvodina to Get Local Solar Cadasters for Planning and Attracting Investments

The Provincial Secretariat for Energy, Construction and Transport of Vojvodina has published the tender for the preparation of the methodology for preparation of local solar cadasters with the aim of promoting the use of solar energy in the territory of Vojvodina.

The main goal of the project is to prepare the methodology for the purpose of inciting the use of renewable energy sources and enabling local communities to identify, in their territories, suitable locations for the construction of solar power plants, says the tendering documentation.

The subject of the tender is the forming of the methodology, the collecting of data, the analysis and processing of data, the evaluation of locations for the construction of solar power plants and creating the basis for the database of suitable locations in the territory of Vojvodina, as well as the identification of potential locations for the construction of solar power plants with a power of over 1 MW in the territory of one single local self-government (City of Sombor, City of Kikinda, or the Municipality of Irig), for the purpose of planning and attracting investments. The local solar cadasters would have the possibility of integration into the Geoportal of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, it is added.

The tender is open until October 28.
