Nis to Become Center of Agricultural Wholesale and Distribution – Wholesale Open Market with Logistics Center and Car Market on 6 ha to Be Built, Designer Needed

The PUE Trznica Nis has published the tender for the designing of a logistics center and wholesale open market complex.

According to the project task, the future complex will be located close to the toll booth Nis-Jug, in the cadaster municipality of Novo Selo, on parcels with an area of 61,681 m2. The project envisages the urbanization and the introduction of new features to this long-neglected part of the city, the documentation says.

The construction of the new business-commerce complex is planned to be executed by the PUE Trznica Nis and the City of Nis with foreign and local investors.

The aim is the boosting and the upgrade of the sale of primarily agricultural products made by big producers in the narrow and wider Nis areas, as well as the distribution of imported and local goods through the logistics center for the purpose of centralizing the wholesale trade.

– Due to the proximity of the highway, this location will be very interesting to sellers and distributors. The construction of the logistics center and the wholesale open market will enable Nis to become one of the main distribution centers – says the tendering documentation.

An area suitable for the trade, distribution and showcasing of goods is planned within the complex, for the wholesale of agricultural products and the distribution of those products south and north from Nis.
