External Trade of Serbia Increases 34.2% in First Eight Months

The overall external trade in the Republic of Serbia for the period January-August 2022 amounted to EUR 42.3818 billion, which was an increase of 34.2% compared to the same period 2021, according to the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia.

Expressed in euros, the value of exports amounted to EUR 17.5135 billion, which was a 28.2% increase compared to the same period last year. The value of imports amounted to EUR 24.8683 billion, which was a 38.8% increase when compared to the same period last year.


The deficit amounted to EUR 7.3548 billion, which was an increase of 72.9% compared to the same period last year.
