The Provincial Secretariat for Urban Planning and Environmental Protection has notified the public about the adopted decision that the project of the substation 400/35kV Vetrozelena does not require an environmental impact assessment.

Also, the City of Bor has announced the public presentation of the urban project for the construction of a mixed 110 kV power line from the substation Bor 2 to the substation Solarina in the territory of the city, from October 4 to 12.

These are two projects by CWP Global, the company which develops RES projects in Europe and Australia.

As Maja Turkovic, the manager for Europe at CWP Global, told eKapija in March, the company in Serbia has around 500 MW worth of projects in development, and the construction of Wind Farm Vetrozelena in Pancevo of 350 MW and Solar Power Plant Solarina of 150 MW in Zajecar should start at the end of next year.

According to her, Vetrozelena will cost around EUR 270 million, and Solarina will cost around EUR 120 million.

You can read about the details of the Vetrozelena and Solarina projects in separate articles on eKapija.
