The study, prepared by Eco-ing M from Belgrade, says that the company for the exploitation of mineral water and production of beverages Knjaz Milos plans to expand its range of products and modernize its production lines and that, in line with that, the company plans to build a new facility where four special-purpose units for the production and storage of foods will be formed. Also, according to the project-technical documentation, the extension and reconstruction of the two existing facilities is planned.
The new construction, extension and reconstruction of the production facility is planned within the existing business-industrial complex located in the territory of the municipality of Arandjelovac.
The planned activities are to be carried out on a parcel of 88,857 m2, which is owned by the company. Within the new facility for the production of non-alcoholic refreshing beverages and the bottling of mineral water, the forming of the following units is planned:
– Production hall, 3,304.60 m2
– Secondary materials warehouse, 2,007.70 m2
– Cooling plant, 275.19 m2
– Syrup plant, 672.00 m2
Said new facilities for production and storage directly lean to the existing production hall with a laboratory on the northwest and northeast sides.
The project also plans the reconstruction and extension of two existing facilities, namely: the space for cooling devices and the guardhouse. The total net area of the facilities will amount to 6,515 m2.
The existing facilities, the warehouse hall for secondary raw materials, with an area of 1,182 m2, and the main pipeline shaft opening of 38 m2, need to be removed from the location where the new facility is to be built.
Knjaz Milos is among the largest producers of mineral water, non-alcoholic and energy beverages in Serbia. The company’s seat is in Arandjelovac, where, in Bukovicka Banja, over two centuries ago (founding date 1811), the history of using spring water began.
