Government Approves Discount of 15 to 30% for Households Which Save Electricity

The Government of Serbia has adopted the decision for households which save electricity compared to the same month last year in the amount of 5-20% to get a 15% discount, RTS reported today. If the saving of kilowatts exceeds 20-30%, the bill will be reduced 20%, and if the savings are higher than 30%, the discount will be 30%.

This will apply in the period between October 2022 and the end of March 2023.

Discounts are not calculated for purchasers which don’t consume electricity in the relevant period, such as vacation houses.
