At a session, the Government of Serbia amended a decree, proscribing a new maximum retail price of milk. As the Blic daily learns, UHT milk with 2.8% milk fat will cost RSD 128.99 from today. Previously, the price of one liter was capped at RSD 119.99.

According to what Blic Biznis learned, the government has also amended the producers’ profit margin, lowering the maximum trade margin for all kinds of UHT milk from 12% to 5%.

The decree also implements a ban on the export of fresh milk and certain milk products until September 30.
