From October 1, the PE Srbijagas will be calculating the delivered gas in kilowatt-hours (kWh) instead of cubic meters (m3).

According to the company’s website, Srbijagas got the approval of the Energy Agency of Serbia for the Decision on the price of natural gas for public supply, adopted by the Supervisory Board of the PE Srbijagas, in line with the Decision on amendments to the Methodology of setting the price of natural gas for public supply.

– Under said decision, capacity tariffs are expressed in dinars/kWh/day/year, whereas tariffs for energy are expressed in dinars/kWh – the website says.

The change of the methodology, as pointed out, leads to “a change in the way the delivered natural gas is measured and the implementation of kWh instead of m3 as the calculating unit of the delivered energy in line with the decree which more closely determines the conditions of the delivery and supply of natural gas”.
