Tender for Construction of Green Market Complex in Obrenovac Opens – Job Worth RSD 1.4 Billion

The City of Belgrade has opened the tender for the execution of the works on the construction of the Green Market complex and a canopy at the Goods Market in Obrenovac.

According to the technical description of the job worth close to RSD 1.4 billion, the complex will be built on an area of 5,502 m2, in the space between Vuka Karadzica Street, Vojvode Misica Street, the Health Center and the city square.

The urban plan envisages the forming of a construction parcel for the construction of the facility – the green market complex which consists of KP165/4, KP170 and a part of KP 169/1, KO Obrenovac and whose area is 5,502.00 m2.

The area covered by the urban project features the facilities of the existing green market complex, which is in a bad condition and which does not meet the needs of the users, so it is marked for demolition.

The complex of the new green market is to be designed as an indoor facility with 32 outlets, an administrative part (3 offices), an underground garage, an indoor dairy market with refrigerated cabinets and an indoor market hall – a green market with counters. The facility is to have a basement and a ground floor.

Pedestrian access to the facility is secured from several places, from Vuka Karadzica Street and the newly planned Pijacna Street, as well as from the interior part of the block on the neighboring southwest parcel.

The basement of the facility is planned to have an underground garage with 76 parking spaces, which is accessed by a car ramp from Vuka Karadzica Street and a car ramp from the newly planned Pijacna Street.

The complex will have 3 passenger elevators and 1 freight elevator, as well as 1 elevator for the transport of waste.

The external walls of the facility are designed with a façade finish in the form of decorative red brick slips.

The tender expires on September 26.
