Agrobanka targets 5% market share by end of 2012
The main aim of Agrobanka is to reach 5% market share by the end of 2012, it was said at a press conference organized by that bank. Agrobanka's share in the banking market at the end of September 2010 amounted to 2.8%.
- Demand for agricultural loans in Agrobanka has remained unchanged over the last few months and it is not expected to grow before spring 2011 because farmers do not plan some major works until then - said Slavoljub Koricanac, the Deputy Chairman of the bank's Executive Board.
- The number of unpaid claims is at the level of the average for the banking sector. The bank's credit portfolio amounts to 450 million euros - said Koricanac.
As he explained, saving deposits grew by 50 million euros in November, while overall foreign currency deposits exceed 330 million euros.
Dusan Antonic, the Chairman of the Executive Board of Agrobanka, stated that Agrobanka would form a bank in Banja Luka and open branch offices in Bijeljina and Sarajevo in 2011.
