Projects for the regional recycling center in Pozarevac underway - Wastewater treatment plant in Petrovac na Mlavi also planned

The development of projects for a regional and recycling center in Pozarevac is underway, stated the Minister of Environmental Protection Irena Vujovic during her tour of the construction works on the transfer station with a recycling yard in Petrovac na Mlavi.

- Local authorities from the entire district will gravitate towards the regional and recycling center in Pozarevac, among them Petrovac na Mlavi, and that is why the transfer station is an important step in this big business. In Petrovac na Mlavi, we will also construct a wastewater treatment plant which will cover the needs of around 12,000 residents - said Vujovic.

The transfer station construction project is entirely financed by the Ministry of Environmental Protection, and will be used for partial treatment, storage and transshipment of waste from four municipalities - Petrovac na Mlavi, Kucevo, Zagubica and Malo Crnice, the Ministry has announced.
