The construction of the Raca-Bijeljina highway officially begins in September

Minister of Transport and Communications of Republika Srpska, Nedeljko Coric announced that the works on the Raca - Bijeljina highway section will officially commence in mid-September, in the presence of officials from Republika Srpska and Serbia.

- It is a joint project and that is why it has a special value and importance. We want to send a message to our people that Srpska and Serbia are one and that we are brothers regardless of the fact that we live in two countries - said Coric to journalists in Jahorina.

He said that he is certain it will contribute to a different dimension of Bijeljina, compared to what it is today.

The Minister of Spatial Planning, Construction and Ecology of Republika Srpska Srebrenka Golic said on Friday that the relevant ministry has issued a preparatory permit for the Raca - Bijeljina highway section.
