Milsped Building New Storage-Business Complex in Stara Pazova – Investment Worth Around EUR 30 Million and 30,000 m2 of Additional Storage Space

Milsped Group plans to build a new modern storage-business complex in the industrial zone Krnjesevci in Stara Pazova, whereby the storage space will increase from the existing 325,000 m2 to 355,000 m2.

– With the construction of the future complex, we will expand the existing logistics park by 30,000 m2 and invest in modern logistics technologies. The storage space will be equipped with the most modern equipment and automated storage systems adapted to e-trade and with capacities for regional shipment distribution. Furthermore, capacities for cold chain logistics, in the form of storage space for temperature-regulated goods, as well as for accompanying vehicle equipment, are planned as well – Milsped Group told eKapija.

The new facility, whose value is estimated at EUR 30 million, is an individual investment of the company, and they told us that the plan was for the construction to begin in August, after they had obtained the construction permit.

A total of 150 to 200 new employees should get jobs at the new space.

The urban project of the Milsped storage-business complex was prepared by the company Urban Project for the investor Milsped Nekretnine from Stara Pazova, and it is up for a public presentation until July 12.

It says that the subject of the development of the urban project is the undeveloped building land outside the construction area, located in the central part of the cadaster municipality of the Krnjesevci settlement, and it takes up a total area of 8.51 ha.

The plan is to build a complex which is designed as a functional whole consisting of:

– A storage facility, consisting of: a temperature-controlled closed storage, rack storage, CD storage, customs storage, recycling platform and a gallery, as the second level of the storage space. The storage space is a ground-floor facility with a gallery part. The lower level has a height of 5.0 m, and the gallery part has a height of 6.0 m;
– A business-administrative facility as an annex part, located along the western façade of the storage facility and consisting of: a kitchen with a restaurant, customs space, GLS – sector of compacted shipments, AML – internal auto-moto logistics, referral sector and customs;
– A pumping station with tanks for hydrant, sprinkler and irrigation system networks. The pumping station facility is located in the southwest part of the parcel and underground tanks for the hydrant, sprinkler and irrigation system are set up right next to the facility;
– A facility for drivers and a guardhouse set up next to the vehicle entrance to the complex on the north side of the parcel. The cadaster parcels which are covered by this urban project are located in KO Krnjesevci, in the South Business Zone. The South Business Zone is connected by E70 highway, through the Simanovci interchange, the planned infrastructural corridor, with E75 highway and other settlements in the municipality, as well as the Simanovci business zone.

Said location is located in the South Business Zone, in the Urban Unit V, which is located north of the IA-grade state road, tag A3. The main traffic connection is realized through Prva Industrijska Street.

According to the urban project, the newly built storage facility will have 25,131 m2, whereas the business-administrative part will spread on 1,010 m2.

Talking about the next business plans, Milsped Group told us that, in addition to the construction of said facility, they were developing the projects launched not too long before.

– Last year, we founded the company M-ONE and launched the new service of courier delivery. Also, the first train arrived to our MBOX terminal in Nis recently, so we are also looking at the development of this segment of the intermodal transport service – points out Milsped Group.
