According to the specification of the tender, the subject of the procurement is the delivery and implementation of a platform for smart cities which is harmonized with European standards and trends in the Smart City domain, based on the Internet of Things (IoT) technology, but which also supports other modern communications technologies, collects information in real time, analyzes the collected information and takes adequate actions based on the results.
The delivery and implementation of the platform is envisaged in several phases, and the first phase entails a service of smart lighting, smart parking, a service for the monitoring of air quality, a Smart City portal, a service for notifying public transport users and a service of adaptive traffic management. Furthermore, it entails a service for reporting incidents and a service for the monitoring of weather conditions, services for the monitoring of water torrents and the levels of sewer collectors, a waste management service, a service for standard and thermal-vision aircraft control, a service for pedestrian safety in traffic and a service for the measuring of noise levels.
The value of the job is estimated at RSD 1.25 billion (around EUR 10.5 million).
