Cartridge recycling - Dama Service expands franchise network in Serbia
- Apart from contributing to environment protection and reduction of business expenses, cartridge recycling is also a very profitable business and an investment in it returns in about one year. That can be confirmed by the partners of Italian Dama Service, which successfully operate in the market of Serbia as a franchise for several years now. The company has allotted its technology to enterprises in Pancevo, Belgrade and Sabac, and the starting investment in the equipping of so-called laboratory for recycling laser or ink jet printers ranges between 15,000 and 40,000 euros - Dama Service CEO Danilo Sasso stated for eKapija.
- Dama Service has more than ten years of experience in cartridge recycling, as well as in the sale of mechanical and printing equipment. It is present in the market of printing services since 1993 and it is specialized in distribution of parts and components for laser and ink jet toners. The company also designs and produces specialized machines for the recycling industry and it is a partner of the majority of top recyclers in Italy and Europe, to which it delivers tested products and state-of-the-art technology, while constantly providing advisory services and support - said Danilo Sasso.
Dama Service offers franchisees so-called laboratories, that is, recycling machines, semi-finished products and necessary expert and marketing support. According to Mr. Sasso, recycling is a very profitable business:
- A new cartridge for laser printers costs about 40 euros, while a recycled one is sold at half the price, that is, 20 euros. Our recycling costs amount to 5 euros, which means that we earn 15 euros per cartridge. Our profit is lower when recycling ink jet toners because their price is also lower. The new ones cost 13 euros, the price of recycled ink jet toners amounts to 6 euros, while our expenses are about 1 euro.
Dama Service possesses ISO 9001/14001 certificates and it operates all around Europe - in Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Hungary, Czech Republic, Poland, Romania.
