Electric and electronic waste recycling plant worth 1 million euros opened in Nis
Nis-based recycling plant E-reciklaza (E-recycling), of which annual capacity is 5,000 tons of electric and electronic waste, was opened on November 27 by Serbian Minister of Environment and Spatial Planning Oliver Dulic, as part of the "Let's Clean Serbia" campaign, it was announced on the website of the Serbian government.
This factory, which will employ 40 people, is built according to all ecological standards and it is the first of this kind in southern Serbia.During the visit to Nis, Dulic also went to the area where the first recycling yard in Nis is going to be built.
Construction of the plant was financed by several domestic companies, including Jugo -Impex from Nis, and the investment is worth 1 million euros.
Minister of Environment and Spatial Planning Oliver Dulic said in Nis that that Ministry would respond to the questions from the European Commission’s (EC) Questionnaire within the deadline.
After opening the factory, Dulic told the press that Ministry representatives had had the chance to see questionnaires of former EU candidate countries.- The questionnaire for Serbia has 25% of new questions, while 75% of the questions are the same as for other countries - the Minister explained and reiterated that his Ministry was prepared for that task, that it would stick to the deadlines and would be among the first to give answers.
