"Tirsova 2" to be completed by the spring 2025

The construction of the children's hospital Tirsova 2 will be finished by the spring of 2025, said the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic.

- I believe that we will have a completely new hospital by the spring of 2025, and the preparatory works, which are the most complicated part of the job, will be finished by autumn - said Vucic, who visited the works on the University Children's Clinic Tirsova 2, financed partly through an EU donation, and partly through a loan from the Council of Europe Development Bank, the website of the President of Serbia reported.

The construction of Tirsova 2 will cost EUR 117.2 million, out of which EUR 95 million are required for construction works, and the rest for the purchase of equipment.

The EU donation for the construction of this children's clinic amounts to EUR 35.7 million, which, according to the Serbian government's website, is among the largest donations approved by the Union for projects outside the transport and energy sectors.
