The minister of agriculture, forestry and water management of Serbia, Branislav Nedimovic, has signed the Memorandum of Understanding with the minister of agriculture of Syria, Mohamed Qatna, in order to strengthen the agricultural cooperation of the two countries.

The key fields pertain to the export of Serbian grains and seeds that Serbian producers are known for, but also the export of all other food products that are exported from Serbia.

Minister Nedimovic agreed with his Syrian colleague, with whom he met within the International Agricultural Fair in Novi Sad, that the space for cooperation of the two countries was extremely wide and that there were no limitations regarding the kind of food that can be exported to Syria, whether it’s grains, fruit, or meat, the ministry announced on its website.
