Majevica Factory from Backa Palanka to Launch Production of Tractors in RS

The Minister of Economy and Entrepreneurship of Republika Srpska, Vjekoslav Petricevic, announced that the Majevica factory from Backa Palanka would not long after launch the production of tractors and agricultural extensions in Republika Srpska.

Petricevic, who attended the presentation of the first local tractor produced at the facilities of that company at the Majevica factory on Saturday, said that the Majevica facility would most probably open in Zvornik and that the signing of the agreement with the factory from Backa Palanka was expected in the next weeks.

He explained that the opening of the facility for the assembly of parts for tractors and agricultural extensions produced by Majevica would crown the several months of the successful cooperation with that factory.

The tractor has 90 horsepower and is different from others for its much higher wheel torque.

The company Majevica also promoted seven new extensions for agricultural machines.
