Direct Flights to Egypt from Sarajevo Begin

The first direct flights to the Egyptian city of Hurghada from the Sarajevo International Airport began on Friday.

The ceremony of the opening of this line was marked by a “water welcome”, after the first plane from Hurghada arrived to Sarajevo, as announced from the Embassy of Egypt in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The ambassador of Egypt to BiH, Yasser Sorour, said that the direct air line between Sarajevo and Hurghada considerably contributed to the development of the economy and tourism between BiH and Egypt.

He hopes that there will be efforts to establish a direct flight between Sarajevo and Cairo next year, which, according to him, will act as another incentive for the development of stronger bonds between the two countries.
