SIEPA grants Exporter of the Year award for the seventh time

The Investment and Export Promotion Agency (SIEPA) is going to grant the Exporter of the Year award for the seventh time on December 7.
- The awards will be presented in five categories - the exporter of the year 2010, the best new export product, the conquering of the new market, the SME exporter of the year, and, for the first time, the exporter of the year in the category of socially responsible operations - SIEPA Director Bozidar Laganin said at the press conference.
The deadline for submission of applications is December 1, and the criteria that will be taken in consideration by the expert commission that will choose the winners will be: solvency, liquidity and profitability, as well as the value of export in 2010.
Laganin said that other crucial criteria were: business results of companies in previous three years, number of newly created jobs, quality of products, number of export markets, and number of newly conquered markets in 2010.
Eurobank EFG will grant 15,000 euros
to the winner of the SME Exporter of the Year award for the improvement
of export activities.
In the category of socially responsible operations, SIEPA will reward the best with the enhancement of its appearance in foreign markets.
SIEPA grants the Exporter of the Year award since 2004.
The aim of that award is to stimulate new export undertakings of the best export companies in Serbia.
