The Woman with a Broken Nose won award at festival in Montpelier
Srdjan Koljevic's second movie - The Woman with a Broken Nose, won the Young Public Award at the recently finished Mediterranean Film Festival in Montpelier in France.
In addition to the festival in Montpelier, Koljevic's movie also opened the 20th jubilee film festival in Cottbus in Germany last night. After the end of the Cottbus Film Festival, The Woman with a Broken Nose will also be shown at the festival in Seville in Spain.
The movies speaks about Belgrade as it is today, when the pendulum of energy and emotions, after the years of wars, destruction and hatred, starts swinging to the other side - the side of life, rediscovery of love, and the place where scars from the past are disappearing.
Srdjan Koljevic is the screenwriter and the director of the movie, while lead roles are played by Nebojsa Glogovac, Anica Dobra and Branka Katić. Supporting roles are played by Vuk Kostic, Nada Sargin, Jasna Zalica, Nikola Rakocevic, Dubravka Kovjanic, Vojin Cetkovic, Ljubomir Bandovic, Rada Djuricin, Miodrag Milovanov and Nikola Djuricko.
The producers are the production companies Bas Celik from Serbia and Neue Mediopolis from Germany.
