The largest galvanizing plant in the Balkans, worth 21 million euros, was opened today in Indjija in the presence of Slovenian and Serbian prime ministers Borut Pahor and Mirko Cvetkovic.

Prime ministers Pahor and Cvetkovic pointed out that the opening of that Celje-based Maxim's plant, which was going to employ 50 workers, was good for the economies of both Slovenia and Serbia and added that Slovenia was one of the largest investors in Serbia.

Slovenian Prime Minister said at the opening ceremony that the economic cooperation between Serbia and Slovenia was on the rise and that the level of the exchange of goods in the first 10 months of 2010 was 11% higher than in the same period in 2009.
