Pre-Application for POS Program Starts at “Bolji Nacin” Portal

At the boljinacin.rs website, the National Initiative for Cashless Payments has initiated the process of pre-application for the POS program, through which, this year alone, the plan is to equip the first 4,000 points of sale throughout Serbia, including online stores, the NALED announced.

When the POS program takes root, small traders and other entrepreneurs who want to enable their customers to buy with cards or mobile phones will be able to have a POS terminal installed and to use it for free, with a subsidized traders fee for a period of one year, the announcement says.

As added, in addition to entrepreneurs, micro and small enterprises, the program can also be used by public administration institutions, and the basic requirement for everybody is that they haven’t been accepting card payments in the past year.

In addition to the name of the store, the city, the core activity and the email address, applicants should cite in the pre-application whether they are fiscalization subjects, and everybody who is in the process of procuring a new fiscal cash register is recommended to show an interest and join the POS program waiting list, because they will be able to get an additional subsidy for cashless payments.
