Attractive People Have Better Immunity

According to research done at the Texas Christian University, attractive people have better immunity, which especially helps them fight bacterial infections. Although the saying goes that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, research has nevertheless managed to define the characteristics of universally attractive people.

A symmetrical face, prominent cheekbones, glistening eyes and full lips, they claim, will certainly help attract attention from potential partners, because it is precisely those characteristics that are linked to health, so the person is unconsciously perceived as a better “catch”.

Earlier research linked attractiveness with longevity, cardiovascular health and the way attractive individuals rate their own health, but this American study went a step further, asking how a person’s attractiveness is connected with how others rate their health and what it is actually like (which was determined by analyzing the blood composition).
