Sberbank Srbija Renamed as Nasa AIK Banka

Sberbank Srbija has officially changed name into Nasa AIK Banka, thereby fully becoming part of the local banking group led by AIK Banka, it was announced today. The president of the Executive Board of AIK Banka, Jelena Galic, expressed her satisfaction over the fact that Sberbank Srbija has become part of AIK Banka. She pointed out that AIK Banka thereby “once again confirms its dedication to the further growth, the strengthening of its stability and corporate responsibility”.

– Stability and a strong capital foundation are clear indicators of our success and the great security we provide to our clients and savings depositors. That is exactly what the decision of the National Bank of Serbia confirmed too, whereby AIK Banka was given the approval to take over Sberbank Srbija – she said.

Galic pointed out that she believed that the process of integration to follow would be completed successfully and that the resulting business synergy would be of great importance for the bank’s clients, employees and the entire banking system.

Having become part of AIK Banka, Sberbank Srbija continues its operations without ties with the previous shareholders, the press release says.

The president of the Executive Board of Nasa AIK Banka, Vladimir Boskovic, said that, thanks to this consolidation, the bank “will continue operating in a stable, liquid and very successful manner”.

– The savings of all our clients and the money on their accounts in our bank are thereby additionally secured. All our services and apps will continue functioning as before, and the clients continue to use their payment and credit cards as before – Boskovic explained.

Accordingly, the change of the branding of all the branch offices has begun, and in the upcoming days the bank will continue harmonizing and implementing a new visual identity and further integrating with the new owner – AIK Banka, the press release says.
