IX CANSEE General Assembly Session held at Museum of Yugoslavia in Belgrade on February 22, 2022
Ms. Mirjana Doncic Beaton, CANSEE Managing Director, welcomed the guest with a short speech and expressed her gratitude to the Embassy of Canada, all CANSEE members, partners, and friends, Government of Serbia representatives that have been supporting CANSEE during these challenging times. She was very thankful CANSEE’s founding member Magna Seating and valuable member Schneider Electric for sponsoring the event. Gratitude was also given to Ms. Neda Knežević, Museum’s Director and her devoted team for an amazing opportunity to host CANSEE members, partners, and friends in their magnificent premises.
Amongst the present guests was H.E. Giles Norman, Canadian Ambassador to Serbia, who took the stand and greeted all the guests and thanked CANSEE for the strong partnership throughout the years.
Mr. Michael Koller, Magna’s Director TRIM operations Europe, welcomed the guest and thanked CANSEE for the opportunity to present Magna Seating in the beautiful setting of the Museum. Ms. Mirjana Doncic Beaton thanked the Ambassador and Mr. Koller and also thanked Schneider Electric, a global leader in the digital transformation of energy management and automation and a reliable digital partner for sustainability and efficiency. The company is driving digital transformation by integrating the world's leading technologies in the energy and process industries, from the starting point to the cloud, connecting products, control, software, and services throughout its life and thus enables integrated management of household systems, buildings, data centers, infrastructure, and industry. In Serbia, Schneider Electric Hub in Novi Sad, deals with research, development, and software engineering in the field of electric power, and especially the improvement of modern infrastructure systems. Through more than two decades of growth and improvement, Schneider Electric Hub in Novi Sad today brings together 1,000 employees who work together to develop and deliver software for management and optimization of electricity and gas, on over 50 projects in various phases.
On behalf of the Museum of Yugoslavia Ms. Neda Knežević, Director of Museum of Yugoslavia welcomed all guests and expressed great joy that CANSEE has chosen their premises for this extraordinary occasion. She shortly explained the significant history of the Museum and the importance of the Museum.
Lastly, Ms. Mirjana Doncic Beaton said the Association is motivated to support its members with all their efforts in achieving the best possible results and welcomed the guests to enjoy the rest of the night!
Following the GA session, an exclusive tour of the complex of the Museum of Yugoslavia consisting of Museum 25 May, Old Museum and House of Flowers was organized for the interested guests with the Museum’s curators.
