REV and Energoprojekt-Hidroinzenjering one step closer to hydroelectric power plants on the Lim - About EUR 140m for Brodarevo 1 and Brodarevo 2

Companies REV and Energoprojekt–Hidroinzenjering will sign on October 25 an agreement on preparation of the investment-technical documentation - a justification study with a preliminary project and tender documentation for construction works and equipment for hydroelectric power plants Brodarevo 1 and Brodarevo 2. The value of the project is estimated at about 140 million euros.

REV's overall investments are the proof of serious intentions for implementing exceptionally attractive project that will benefit not only investors but also the whole social community, primarily Prijepolje and Brodarevo.

With this project, Serbia will significantly increase the production from renewable energy sources. At the same time, about 60% of the investment concerns the construction works, which are planned to be carried out by local companies.

Local community will definitely benefit significantly not only from the assets that will be added to the budget of the municipality of Prijepolje, but also from other planned activities.

Namely, housing project that will be used during the construction will be adapted and placed at the disposal of the citizens of Brodarevo pursuant to their needs. It is well-known that there is a problem with the supply of water in Brodarevo and that the issue of sewerage has not been resolved yet, so that there is a possibility that REV will provide certain assistance in their resolving.
