Award-winning film "Darkling" at the 50th Fest

After the world premiere at the Trieste Film Festival, where the new Serbian feature film was awarded the Audience Award, "Darkling" by screenwriter and director Dusan Milic will soon arrive in front of Belgrade audience and audiences around Serbia - first as part of the 50th FEST program, then through regular cinema distribution. The trailer is now available for viewing. The film was made with the support of the Film Center of Serbia (FCS).

As stated on the FCS website, the plot of the psychological thriller "Darkling" takes place during the March pogrom in Kosovo and Metohija, shortly after Easter 2004. The film analyzes the topic of life in constant fear through the story of Serbian girl Milica who, after disappearance of her father and uncle, is left alone with her mother and grandfather in a haunted house. The family is protected by friendly soldiers of the Italian KFOR, whose transfer home, however, changes everything…
