Arthur D. Little operates in more than 40 countries around the world, and they have decided to add Belgrade to their map of local offices. In this company, they believe that Serbia is an increasingly dynamic market with great potential, actively offering opportunities and new ways to grow and expand.

According to Bela Virag, the company's Managing Partner, ADL has opened its office in Belgrade to provide local support to Serbian companies it currently works with, expand its client portfolio and increase its presence in the Western Balkans.

- Our company also aims to offer local talents the opportunity to develop their careers in the field of strategic consulting.

Your company offers a wide range of consulting services, both in the public and private sector. What professional knowledge is necessary in modern business processes?

- We are witnessing various changes a large number of industries are facing, such as new technologies, new solutions, and, at the same time, digital transformation and new ways of doing business. It is not easy to be a manager or a business owner and understand and implement all of these changes. In such situations, we can help and support our clients both in the public and private sectors on how to anticipate, innovate and transform their businesses - how to successfully implement new technologies and innovations in order to expand their business.

One of the important topics during your recent presentation was digitization and strategic growth. How do you see the potentials of Serbia in that regard?

- In the last few years, Serbia has done a lot in the field of digitization - especially in the field of e-government. There is also constant annual growth within the IT sector, but also in the wider ICT sector. Digitization has increased further in many sectors over the past two years, as well as worldwide, due to the global pandemic.

We believe that further digitization of business - internal processes as well as customer relationships - can bring better business results and improve the customer experience in many sectors. We help our clients to see where they currently are on their path to digitization and what should be a priority during further transformation, through an efficient digital business status verification program.

Do you see opportunities for business development in some other sectors in Serbia, besides the IT industry?

- We are proud of what we have achieved over the past few years with our clients in the IT sector in Serbia, but also in sectors such as telecommunications, energy and the public sector, where there is also great potential. We are currently looking forward to expanding our business into other areas within which we have extensive experience and expertise, such as transport, banking and insurance, as well as health sector, where we recognize great development opportunities for Serbia.

We also plan on further strengthening our local team in Belgrade with new colleagues, relying on the strong talent pool that Serbia possesses.

- Yes, Arthur D. Little was indeed the first management consulting firm in the world, and we celebrated our 135th anniversary in 2021. Although we are the creators of management consulting and we are extremely proud of the history and tradition we have established, we have always been focused on the future and innovation. Arthur D. Little never looked back. For the past 136 years, we have been helping clients imagine the things to come and anticipate the needs of tomorrow. This approach has proven successful in the past, and still applies to modern business.
