New place for shopping and entertainment in the neighborhood - Point Center, worth 8 million euros, opened in Kaludjerica
Point Center, a new place for shopping and entertainment in Kaludjerica, opened its doors to the first visitors today. A contemporary trade center at 10,000 square meters, in which ImmoPoint invested 8 million euros, comprises 34 outlets with a diverse offer.
Point Center will offer the citizens of Kaludjerica, as well as neighboring places - Grocka, Mali and Veliki Mokri Lug, Lestane, Bolec, Vrcin, Vinča - a somewhat different concept of entertainment and shopping that they have had before.
- In addition to fun and entertainment, this neighborhood shopping center will significantly contribute to the enhancement of the quality of life of local population. We wanted to offer something new in this part of Belgrade, to create a simulation of the city square in some way, since the quality of stores in Kaludjerica is not that good. There are many young people here, while even greater development of this area is expected within next ten years – ImmoPoint CEO Milos Tutunovic explained for eKapija and added that over 200 people, mainly local inhabitants, had got jobs.
The ground floor of the shopping center is occupied by Roda supermarket at 1,600 square meters, while various contents for shopping and entertainment are situated on the first and the second floor. Consumers will enjoy the product portfolios of the following companies - Fitex, Ofy Toys, Brankodex, Attrattivo, Diopta, Tehnomarket, Beric gallery of watches and jewelry, Alter Footwear, AnMari wedding dresses, Menda, Stampa Sistem, Delizia, Telenor, Societe Generale Bank, Martini cafe, VIP exchange office, Opi beauty parlor, Primax pharmacy, etc.
As Tutunovic said, this project is modeled after smaller Mercator centers, while its look is authored by Energogroup. Companies Napred, Slovas, Mont Beton, Mont Projekt, with more than ten subcontractors, took care of the construction, in which over 500 workers were engaged.
Point Center in Kaludjerica was opened today by Snezana Majstorovic, a 14-year-old who has won the national and world synchronized swimming competitions. Since she was unable to compete in this year's world competition due to a lack of money, the management of ImmoPoint has recognized her talent and it will finance Snezana's participation in the next international competition.
Point Center will be open every working day and on Saturday between 9 AM and 10 PM, while the working hours of Roda supermarket are between 7 AM and 10 PM. On Sunday, this shopping center will be open between 11 AM and 7 PM, while Roda will be open between 7 AM and 7 PM.
ImmoPoint CEO also announced further investments in the construction of similar centers in suburban boroughs that did not have such contents in the offer.
