The first virtual employment and education fair that is completely organized in the Internet environment started yesterday and vacancies and educational programmes at that fair will be presented by about 50 companies and educational institutions from the region.
- The virtual day of careers and knowledge is available on website www.dankarijera.com and it functions as a 3D application where the companies' booths and the jobs they offer are visually presented, as well as the programmes of educational institutions - it was announced today at the press conference organized by Infostud.
Communication between employers and candidates will be interactive. Candidates will be submitting their resumes via the website, while a live contact with the HR managers of these companies, as well as with the experts for the development of business skills, will be possible in "chat" rooms.
The event in the virtual environment is organized by Infostud with its websites Poslovi.infostud.com and Znanje.infostud.com, in association with the regional employment websites - Croatian Moj-posao.net and Posao.ba from Bosnia and Herzegovina, and it will be open for all visitors from all three countries.
Japan Tobacco International (JTI), VIP Mobile and Deloitte will be the only companies to offer jobs to candidates in all three countries of the region (Serbia, Croatia and B&H), while other companies that will appear at the fair are: Philip Morris, Coca Cola Hellenic, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Actavis, Delta Maxi, Carlsberg, Delta Generali Osiguranje, and others.
Sonja Kmezic, who is in charge of the employment websites and human resources at Infostud, said that the organizers expect about 100,000 people to visit the eight-day fair searching for job and education since the web application is already active for 24 hours and there is no problem with visiting the fair.
In addition to companies, the fair will also gather educational institutions that offer MBA studies or language schools so that all those searching for job or wishing to change it will be able to get the information on the skills that are in demand in the market - said Tomislav Cetkovic who is in charge of the Infostud educational websites.
The fair will be open until October 20.
