Ruins of Chinese Embassy in New Belgrade to be finally removed

The situation with the Embassy and the residence of the People's Republic of China in New Belgrade, torn down during the NATO bombing in 1999, will be finally resolved.

Namely, after over a decade, the Directorate for Building Land and Development of Belgrade has hired PMC Engineering to clear and refurbish the terrain and elaborate the main project for demolishing the facilities.

The former Embassy and residence are situated in Tresnjin Cvet Street in New Belgrade's Block 11a, in an attractive part, in the vicinity of SC Usce and business complex VIG Plaza.

The facilities at 6,340.05 square meters were built on the complex of building land that occupies the surface area of 59 a and 99 sqm.
