The president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, stated in Glasgow, where the global climate summit is being held, that he should meet with the prime minister of Hungary, Viktor Orban, not long after so that they would discuss the possibility of Serbia’s buying a certain ownership share in the Hungarian nuclear power plant Paks. He also said that Serbia was interested in other nuclear power plants in the region and that “we will check with Bulgaria whether to buy a share from them too”.

Aleksandar Vucic repeated that he would discuss the possibility of Serbia’s buying 5 to 10-12% ownership share in the nuclear power plant Paks with Viktor Orban, because it could do so, in order to have a considerable share of clean energy.
