(Enver Moralic)

Enver Moralic, one of the richest people in Croatia and the owner of famous wine manufacturer Kutjevo, plans to invest in the companies in Serbia that are in the privatization process. He told weekly magazine Lider Poslovni Tjednik that he wanted to invest in agriculture in Serbia and Bosnia.

Moralic said that the takeover of the sugar plant in Bijeljina was underway. When asked why he has decided to buy out the sugar plant, Moralic explains that it is not profitable to produce only raw materials in the agriculture sector and that each phase of processing brings additional profit.

- Since we are a sugar beet manufacturer, that is a logical investment - he added.

Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Russia, Switzerland, Hungary and Ukraine are the countries where Enver Moralic currently has his companies.

- Having in mind that I know Bosnia very well and that it is the closest to me, I also find it attractive for investments. Serbia is still unknown to me - Moralic reveals.

Moralic has recently said that he is going to enter a gas business in Poland, Ukraine and Croatia with Gazprom.

In addition to wine production, Kutjevo also produces meat and meat products, baked goods, flour. Also, some of the activities of this company are: production of seeds for field crops, crop farming, cattle breeding, wine tourism, etc.
