Foreign Trade of Nisava, Pirot and Toplica Districts Increases by One Fifth

The foreign trade of companies from the territories of the Nisava, Pirot and Toplica districts, in the January-August 2021 period, amounted to EUR 1.9 billion, which, compared to the same period last year, is higher by 20.5%, announced the Regional Chamber of Commerce of Nis.

The exports were worth 1.2 billion, whereas, last year, in the same period, they were 997 million, and the imports increased from 643 million to 783 million euros.

Companies from these three districts exported the most goods to Germany, worth EUR 188 million, followed by Algeria, EUR 100 million, and Austria, EUR 79 million.

Most goods were imported from Germany, worth EUR 120 million, followed by China, EUR 115 million, and Belgium, EUR 54 million.
